Taking anatomy class

I am 28 weeks and am taking an anatomy class for college. We dissected a rabbit today. The teacher said they weren't preserved in formeldahyde but in another type of preservative. I was just wondering if there is anything I should be worried about?

Probably not. You weren't breathing it in for hours, right? And I am sure you were wearing gloves? I remember that smell, gave me a headache, but nothing else ever happened. I think as long as you didn't absorb any through skin and you weren't inhaling it for a very long time it ought to be okay.
