Tampons!!

Sooo i'm back on the pill, and my first pack runs out easter weekend, so weekend after next.. and im ASSUMING this is when my first period after giving birth will be???
Now I hate hate hate pads, and was wondering dya think itll be ok to start using tampons again?
Has anyone else used them with their first period after?
I heard the first one after birth can be really heavy???
Are they super uncomfortable or sore to use?
Should I just stick to pads until at least my second one?

god u got put back on the pill straight away?!

tbh i think its personal choice, if all feels okay with u then go for it. everythings meant to be 6 weeks to wait after birth so...

my first period was really heavy, i didnt bleed hardly at all after birth (tho did have emergency c-section) so i was shocked lol!!

ask ya doc or HV if you arent sure.

Yeah I did get put back on it pretty quick, but I couldnt keep my hands off OH so better safe than sorry plus this pill is meant to help with spots which I got real bad after having little Jacob

I might give them a go then cus I didnt bleed too heavy after birth either, if they hurt I can always go back to pads I suppose

lol yeah indeed!! would be hard work with two under 1 lol!!

U have my sympathy, mines being a right grouch at the moment, I think its the six week growth spurt - just nothing will make him happy at the mo

i only bled for a week after having Lana and my first period arrived at 8 weeks, it wasnt heavy and i used tampons coz i felt fine
i think if there is a close gap between the lochia stopping and the period starting its better to hold off using them until the next period
