I love the fact 35k makes you a "higher earner" Yeah right.
 
So my husband is being penalised for working his way up into a good job. :(

Seriously though, it's a big worry. Higher tax and no child benefit. My OH works hard so that I can stay home with the children whilst studying for my degree. The Child Benefit is the only income I have in my name. We haven't got spare money. The CB goes on day-to-day things. We'll have even less once these changes apply. (OH does earn enough to be a high rate taxpayer - but also rightly supports his 2 boys from his ex. None of those thousands per year are accounted for when robbing us of CB or tax credits.)

It makes my blood boil knowing that big businesses get away with avoiding billions in taxes (think vodafone, HSBC) whilst us families who are just trying to get by are penalised and told it's our duty.
