My brother's on a co-ed soccer team and they have a little girl, Alison, who's on the team and has Down Syndrome. She would participate in practices, but during the games she would play one-on-one with my dad (he's the assistant coach) The team was ready to let her play with the rest of the kids but she didn't want to. She said she just really likes my dad 
The season ended and they had a party at my house today where they gave out their trophies and everything and discussed the indoor soccer season coming up.
Alison was so infatuated with Olivia, so she hung out with me the whole day. I thought I'd share with you her thoughts on teen pregnancy.
Alison: She's so beautiful. Are you her mommy?
Me: Yes I am, thank you!
A: How old are you?
Me: 17, how old are you?
A: 10. That's young. You must be a very good mommy for God to have given you your baby early.
So according to Alison, young moms must be great because we got our babies early.
I like her version of events. That's going to be my answer from now on when someone says something about young moms.
