Hi girls, I'm looking for advice on getting half a sachet of teething powders into a very grumpy three month old!!

J is grumpy, dribbly, off his milk, being sick, tummy upset, hard gums etc etc......so I bought him some seething powders to try and settle him. As he's under 6 months, the box says to use half a sachet. Not easy when he's in a foul mood!!!

Does anyone have any tips as it says it needs to go onto his tongue dry so not sure if I can wet my finger to give it to him?

Our first attempt was not very successful and he ended up covered in the stuff!!

I wet my finger and do it that way when Evie is playing up x

I didn't use them until Ben was a bit older so I could tip a whole sachet in. If I wre you I'd dip my finger into it, as long as the powder gets in it shouldn't matter how.

If you use one wet a dummy and rub it around in the powder, a fair coating is about half a schet (I didnt find any harm in giving slightly over half) then just pop it straight in his mouth.
If you dont then do the same with your finger instead.

I put my little finger in Daisy's mouth then dab it in the powder and back onto her tongue until the necessary amounts been given xxx

That's great, thanks for the help everyone! x
