teething

I think my Lo is teething, but im not sure. He keeps putting his fists in his mouth and he keeps realy crying as though he is in pain which isnt like him and i no its not wind. The only thing that will stop him from crying is if i give he a little bit of calpol. Then he is alot calmer, which makes me think he is teething.

At what age do they start teething?

What can i do to help him?

Earl started at about 8 weeks and still has no teeth Poor little mite can be really bad at times too.

Calpol, bonjela and teethers (you can get ones that are like dummies that you hold which go in the freezer - tommee tippee explora 1) were our arsenal in the early days. The way I tell if he's having trouble is I pop my finger in his mouth. If he bites, he's got teething issues, if he sucks then there's nothing wrong (just hungry/thirsty/needs a dummy). I would also recommend Bickiepegs for when they are a little older. Earl loves his, and while they are a bit messy with A LOT of drool, they don't half work!

my little boy started at about 8 weeks too, he cut his first 2 bottom teeth at 4 1/2 months x

can start at any age...Teething gel and a teether helps mine x

also Ashtons Teething powders are really good I think under 6 months they can have 1/2 sachet but they really helped my son xx

Daisy has just started and is behaving just like your LO is.

my baby is 17 days old and seems to have all these syptoms, maybe she could be teething! My mum was born with teeth cming through so it could well be! Shes constantly screaming even though shes had her milk, and is changed and warm and comfy. She seems to bite and suck a the same time if i put my nuckle in her mouth. Shes just so young for all this to be happening so soon?
