Teething

Hey all.

Been through 8 teeth sprouting through my son's gums so far, but it would appear the molars are en route now too.

One thing I have noticed, is that his top right gum is really quite swollen (as are his others but this is the worst one) and I am starting to worry it's getting infected or something??

It doesn't seem to be bothering him any more than normal, and he spends most of the time with his fist in his mouth anyway. Just wondered if anyone else's babies got such swollen gums before the teeth popped through? He'll let me touch it to put teething ointment on so it can't be too distressing for him....just wondered.

If it was infected it would hurt a fair bit..

That's what I thought. I guess the swelling is just where it's starting to push through. I'll just take him to the Dr if it's still the same in a few days time x
