temp raise day before period

I know nothing about temps..I attempted to temp chart this last month but lasted like 3 days..I kept forgetting..my temp has been between 99.2 and 99.4 all day today, AF is due tomorrow..is that normal or does it normally drop? I may be coming down with the icky sickies that are going around right now though

Well, it could be a good thing, but it's hard to know without having temped the rest of the month. Did you take those temps first thing in the AM before getting out of bed? BBT is supposed to be taken first thing in the morning -- it's your resting body temp, not after you've been doing stuff during the day. It's also relative to your pattern, what's high or low for someone else might be totally different for you. So... all that's to say, a high temp before AF can definitely be good, but it's difficult to know anything without knowing your own personal temp pattern.

the temp was 99.4 before I got out of bed..and has been about 99.2 the rest of the day so far..I just didn't know if temps spike before periods or not

Temps usually go down the day or two before, or the day of, if AF is coming. A pregnancy BBT chart typically stays above the coverline.
