Hi
i did a poas ov test at lunch and it came back negative but when i checked with my saliva scope it came back with a partial fern(+)

also as i only got my thermometer today i tested at 420pm and my temp was 36.9 then tonight at 1030 it was 36.2

Does anyone have any idea about the differing results i'm getting?

You should only use your "waking temp" there are far too many variables during the day.

Keep up with the OPKS, i do 3 or 4 a day around OV time.

Saliva ferning only actually measures estrogen. I would routinely get ferning or partial ferning right before AF. In addition saliva should only be measured first thing (before tooth brushing) or after not having had anything to eat or drink for at least 2 hours. Even then some people can still find the results a bit wonky. I found it useful to use the saliva with other indicators. Alone it wasn't very reliable for me. Agree with Deb on the temps, best to do it only on waking.
