Testing HCG levels

Hi ladies, I'm 5 weeks +3 pregnant and because of some terrible pains, I'm getting my bloods taken to check on HCG levels and whether they are doubling. Got yesterday's test back today and HCG is 4702. I've read somewhere that once HCG hits over 6,000, it takes longer than 2/3 days to double. Has anyone else heard this? I don't know whether to get my 2nd blood test tomorrow or to leave it another day

Take it tomorrow! If it's not doubling then you want to deal with it right away!!! I'm surprised your doctor even gave you an option!
But your original number 4702 looks great, I'm sure everything is fine!! Let us know how it goes!!

I was having really bad pains too and I thought FOR SURE its ectopic, especially since I had already had one, my numbers were fine and eventually we saw on the ultrasound that baby was totally healthy and it was just normal (although painful) pains!
