Does anyone else spend some days wishing for bed time??

I feel really bad, wishing my time away with my gorgeous little man, but MAN... has he been hard work the last couple of days!

For the last two nights, he has woken up at 10pm and screamed and cried and dozed then screamed and so on and so on until 2am!!! I don;t know what is wrong. He refuses the breast, although I think he must be hungry because he is not taking his evening feed well.

So I think it must be his teeth!?! But I can't feel anything, but he chewing his hands alot!

So then because he has slept so badly at night, he is tired in the day and hardly naps.... so an awful catch 22!!

I know it is just a phase and that it will pass, but please before I loose what little sanity I have left!

.. Just re read this and am now thinking what a pity post!! sorry!!

Ooooh dear, I'm sorry you feel like this. Do you have anyone that you can talk to?

I hope it gets better for you :hugs:

Nicola xx

Hey Nic,

Its really not as bad as I seemed to make it out to be!! Now that he is bed anyway!!
Probably just cos I am so knackered! (never been any good at going without sleep!)
We go on holiday in 8 days, so that will be great!

Aww :hugs:. Daisy is teething too and it is hard going isn't it!

I'm the opposite with bedtime. I got in from work at 5:15 and Daisy was fast asleep by 6:30 so I'm wishing that she'd have her bedtime much later, like about 9 so I could see her for longer after work.

I'm sometimes grateful when bedtimes comes round too. Somedays she's soooo full on and into everything I feel like all I say all day is "no!".

Also I know what to do with her for that last part of the day, and she gets all cuddly so it's lovely. :)

but then once she's in bed I miss her ! And like Jchihauhau I miss having linger with her now I'm back at work. There really is just no pleasing me! :haha:

:hugs: honey. Somedays I know just how you feel. Xxxx

yep there are still days I count down the minutes until bedtime

I still sometimes count down to bedtime. At the worst of the colic after an hour or so of being up I would be counting down to bedtime - and to get to the bed bit was usually the worst bit of the day too! Oh well - at least things don't seem as bad now.

Thanks ladies, great to know I am not alone!
TOday is a totally different story! Tobi is on top form (probably because he has had a good nights sleep!)

some days i feel like that too but now that i am back at work i miss her so much.. i felt more like that when i was home with her all day as she is quite a demanding baby.. but now i miss her

its totally normal hun :hugs:

if hes started teething but not cutting any teeth yet maybe yu could rub in some dentinox into his gums, if they are achey it should provide the numbness for him to be able to sleep?

also yeah some days i cant wait until bedtime, as much i love spending time with my little angel, there are days when shes hard work, and i just cant wait for her to be settled so i can relax!! xx
