Thanksgiving ceremony help

Hello,

I have opted to have a thanksgiving ceremony for my LO after speaking to the church, it seems this kind of service would suit us more.

I need to send the invites out but I dont know what they should say on them? Can I just get christening ones as I cant seem to find any for thanksgiving ceremonies, and also do you think my LO can still wear a christening gown? And do I invite everyone to the church as it will be part of the morning church service.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi hun, sounds like a nice idea. I'm not so sure about the invitations - do they actually say Christening on them? I wouldn't get them, if they do. Could you make some? I made my wedding invitations with store-bought blank stationery, it was gorgeous and I just used my computer and printer to write what I wanted.

I think a Christening gown would be fine.

And yes, I think invite everyone to the church.
