When Alasdair was a couple of weeks old we bought this:

however now everytime I put him in it he leans forward and sits up! Lovely that he can do it but I'm left wondering why we even bothered to buy it. Probably only used it 10 or so times!

Same here i got one almost like that that vibrates and max either leans forward or lenas sidways bonking his head on the toy rack that came with it lol

Hannah rarely sits in hers, it has toys on it but she really doesn't like them. And she'd much rather sit in her bumbo now or in her exersaucer. She does try to sit up in her swing though and we are constantly readjusting her so she doesn't hurt herself

We had something like that as well but it was a porta swing and Keira just stop using it within the last two months and just loved it. Some nights it was the only way we could get her to sleep and stay a sleep for a while.

My sister gave me a boucny chair a bit like that-as her daughter never went in it. Elliot loves it though, he cant sit up yet though!
