The Baking Soda Gender Test

I know someone posted they had done it earlier but i couldnt re find the thread

anyway i just did mine and it came back with BOY! Now considering i already have 2 boys i do believe it but i'm only 7 weeks pregnant so a long way to find out if it has worked!


Has anyone else tried it? / going to try it?? was quite funny to do lol

you put a table spoon of baking powder into a cup then pee in the cup (i put a table spoon into a bowl then pee'd in a different cup then poured it in) and then if it fizzes/bubbles it means boy and if it does nothing then its a girl!

Well i just did the test with baking soda and there was no fizz or bubbles AT ALL! I guess its leaning towards GIRL

Although do you have to be Well into your pregnancy for it to work? or can i do on now? xx

oooh i just tried this and it frothed up and bubbled....so that means boy???

BrandysBabies - i only had about half a cup of pee but it was really dark!

I did it and no fizz so that means girl. Really interested to find out in 12 weeks what I'm actually having!!

No fizz at all! and Chinese calendar thing said girl, too! Can't wait to see if they're right, I'd love to have a little girl

I did this test in first trimester and got girl result, I'm having a little boy.
It was fun to do though!

Mine looks like a glass of beer! Lol! Does that mean boy? Didnt really bubble or fizz, but has a big foam layer on top.

hi girls! i just did the test and it fizzed like mad i then tried with water and milk and no fizz at all then tried with vinegar and it was fizzing like mad, so i asked my hubby to do it and he must b having a boy too cuz it was fizzing away! lol
