The funniest thing happened whilst I was nursing...

Hullo all!

This thread isn't just about the funniest thing that happened to me. We all know how lonely breastfeeding can feel at times- particularly at 3am when you're sat in bed feeding your LO & he unlatches. Only for the milk to continue spurting... Right in husband's hair!!!

And there's noone awake to tell the story to. Pop your funniest moments or bf-ing anecdotes on here and we can all have a giggle. Something everyone needs, especially in the early days.

So that was mine from last night. Is it wrong that I haven't told him & he's yet to shower?!?!

My MIL was staying with us last week and when she arrived the first cup of tea I made for her I announced, whilst handing it to her, that we'd ran out of milk and so it was EBM in her tea and she said "oh that's ok my love" Great thread btw xx

I had that about 10 minutes ago, milk spurting out when lo came off the boob. It wasn't quite as funny for me though because it went all over his face and he's only 2 weeks old

ive had milk cover her face and my face seriously there should be a can squirt every where warning lol. we were out and without relizing i had a random let doiwn and it soaked my shirt and the tops of my pants! there was alot.

I've drenched my little guy so many times - never got my husband though. Sure can get some distance with them!!

lol my son who is 10 was sat next to me other day and lo was doing his usual on and off messing and I squirted ds in the face he said " ughhhh zack has just spat at me!!" I thought I would leave him thinking that lol !!


another thing im always doing is walking around with my bra hanging out!!! the times I have answered door or been out to the bin with my hideous off white bra on show is ridiculous!!!

haha great thread. My little guy gets excited sometimes and starts shaking his head from side to side with his mouth open with my nipple positioned in his mouth before he latches and the other day he was doing this and when he calmed down and went to latch he hadnt started sucking and was still breathing out and blew a raspberry right on my nipple (thhhrp) it was hillarious. Maybe hard to explain and maybe you had to be there but it was very amusing!
