hi,

how much do you usually spend on your kids etc and how much HAVE you spent this year?

i usually spend about £150-200 per child (i have 3) and about £100 on OH, then my sister and grandparents is about £50-75 for the 3 of them.

this year i have spent £147 on eldest son BUT he has loads - asked for dressing up outfits so got him loads off ebay (instead of 1 or 2 brand new he has about 8 for the same price). I have spent £165 on middle son, was nearly the same as eldest and then he asked for a new radio but we got him a lego MP3 player. And i have spent £115 on toddler. so quite pleased with these. OH has had about £50-60.

This year my older two are having £250 each, the youngest is having £230, both my parents, 2 x brothers, sister and SIL are having £30-£40

So far i have spent £140 and plan to spend another £60......usually about £300/400 but i have cut back due to too many toys!

I've had to cut back this year a little as it's the first year I'm splitting Christmas with my ex-husband (we were separated last year but still did Christmas together for the kids) and I don't want them to be totally spoiled rotten between the both of us and family! I think I've spent around £200 on each of them for gifts this year, and spent around £120 on my son's birthday (on Tuesday - yay!). My OH has been spoiled rotten; I've been saving for ages to buy him a new guitar and it's cost me £470! That was some hefty saving, though...

Friends and family get somewhere between £10 - £30 each, depending on how much they can afford (not being materialistic, just making sure not making people uncomfortable - I think we all try to take that into account with each other). I'm due baby #3 on 5th Jan, so I'm almost finished shopping now just in case...so excited!

I have spent about £400 on Daisy but her birthday is 2 days before christmas so her gifts will be split between the two. This year I am spending about £100 on hubby but before we had Daisy I spent more than that. I spend about £30 each on parents, in laws and immediate family and about £15 each on other family members and friends. I spent about £20 on my pets too.

So far I've spent only £20. I'll spend as much as I can afford. Hopefully I'll manage to be able to spend £150-£200.

Last year i spent around £400 on presents for Lilly, and OH spent around £1400 on presents & clothes as we were split up and he was trying to out-do me...sad. This year were back together and have spent £1490 on presents & clothes, her wendyhouse is included in that too which will be for christmas x

Im spending about £200 max on Josh and then £150 on both families. Im booking OH an intensive driving course because its ppeeing me off being his taxi service!

$50 for each of my 2 siblings, my parents and OH's parents. If he wants to buy his brothers something, he can pay for it lol.

OH, I will spend whatever I want lol, so far I've spent $100 and got him Wii Big Buck Hunting and The Pacific on DVD, still want to get him cologne and probably a few other things, plus his stocking. Probably $300ish.

Elyse.. I've spent err.. probably like $300 give or take.. I still want to get her 3 more gifts. I know what one of them is.. we'll see what her final 2 will be. Have her stocking done, don't know how much I spent on it though

This year I have really cut back, so far I have spend £200 on Dec with only a few small pieces left to get and £300 on Dan but I havent got all Dans stuff so his will probably be another £100 (his bike was £300) but we are also paying for a holiday to Paris for Dan as part of his Christmas present (£450), so Dec will get something extra nearer Dans holiday time

I plan to spend no more than £200 on family, but I only have 6 family to buy for.

Well I don't have any children, but I usually spend about £20 per person and £50-£70 on special family. I'm planning about £100 for O.

So far I have spent £400 on presents for Hallie & her Christmas day outfit is £304.. I want to get her a few more disney shop bits & a stocking but sorting out OH first and whatever I can afford afterwards will go on extras for Hallie.

OH will be spent about £300 on but his birthday is on Christmas eve so I am paying for a tattoo for him this month in memory of his grandad. So + whatever that totals.

I got everyone else in my family for £150 using boots 3 for 2 & paypal to buy my nan a dress she wanted!
