The losers club

Glad the journey was ok nats! :) how are you finding the unseasonably warm weather? :)
:hugs: Emmy, not long til July.
Kudos on doing the ironing kimmy, and nice shopping!
Yup, I'm going for the black trousers approach, nice n easy.
Hope AM is ok, tho if it is chicken pox then the nursery would prob take her since it's not contagious once the spots are out, I think. (so my mum says) maybe its a wee viral rash. I hope she skips the tantrums, do all kids go through them? Is it just a frustration of not being able to communicate efficiently yet? Like, they know what they want but don't have the vocabulary to express it yet? I'm a bit scared of that stage. My dad was saying today how like my big brother jen is, but she also has an "edge" that he didn't! I said "are you saying my daughter has an attitude?!" :haha: he said he can hardly remember her as a newborn apart from in the lightbox for her jaundice and ripping the googles off, then getting angry when DH put them back on, her wee fist clenched in rage. He said she had such a strong personality from the word go. So I reckon the tantrums might be spectacular!
We had chilli for dinner- boring!

Aw Lettuce, I'm sure they don't all go through it (A certainly is though!) from what I've read though it's all to do with frustration because they can't make themselves understood. Hoping it passes quickly!!

Morning losers. I like the sunny weather but I don't like the cold house brrrr you brits keep your houses cold!

Then my parents suck :( I don't like waking up to 18 degrees, I'm used to 22+

Um, can't remember everything (again) :dohh: Will make sure I check in at least once a day from now on!

Hope AMs rash doesn't get worse.

Holly is tantrum queen, she has multiple tantrums a day. I went to Teco yesterday and put her in one of those trolleys that have a car attached. Thought she'd love it, silly me  I had to give her biscuits to shut her up, it was 8.30am

Lol, hope Maria enjoys the springtime! Doing anything nice today?
Jen just fell, she's got a bruise coming up on her cheek already. I feel terrible, she was cursing along the cot, and tried to get to the chair, but had a hold of my trouser leg but I didn't realise and I moved slightly, I thought she was holding the cot and she fell and banged her cheek and side of her head. The head looks ok, just a little pink, and it's practically faded but the cheek is still red with a bruise coming. It's the first time shes really hurt herself and she did that holding her breath cry! It was terrible! I guess I better get used to it... :(
But we've got bounce n rhyme today and Jens best friend goes. That's the wee girl who's two weeks older than her. Her mum and I are good mates, but she's at work so gabriela's (the baby) auntie is bringing her. Now, since we are totally inbred, (gabrielas dad is my DHs friend from school) gabrielas aunt is my best friend! so we are going for lunch afterwards. :D

To be fair sapphire I sometimes need biscuits to get me round tesco! :haha:

Aww poor Jen

Haha Saph! I was pleasantly surprised that Maria didnt throw a tantrum while travelling

Oh poor Jen :-( Afraid it does get worse when they start to walk properly Lettuce. But then once they are more steady it does get better. But as the falls become less frequent, they become more spectacular as they try to learn to run!!

Haven't checked madams back yet as she's in her PJs and has a vest on. I'll check her when I get her dressed. She seems ok, just being a stroppy mare with her breakfast! What age do they learn to scoop and spoon feed themselves? AM's spoon feeding is getting worse! I'm not sure if it's because she's not that bothered about it because she had milk not long before. At the mo I'd rather spoon feed her myself and make sure she gets the added dairy and vitamins from the weetabix than worry about self feeding.

Up to much losers? We were meant to be going to a friends, but got a txt this morning saying they have the lurgy so steering clear!

AM loves playing with keys or OH's crappy work phone in Tesco, but she's learnt the game of 'if I drop it, mummy or daddy will pick it up' on repeat!

Have fun in good ole England Nats!

Brrr, I also would not like to wake up to 18 degrees Nats! My heating comes on at 6:30 so it's toasty for when we get up.
Poor Jen, toddlers are so clumsy! Archies got a right bruise on his forehead at the moment. Don't feel bad Lettuce :hugs:
I also need biscuits to get me round tesco :D although a large vodka would also do the trick.
Blondey, Archie has only just started properly spoon feeding himself this week. He feeds himself his tea and I feed him his breakfast because he takes ages! Before he'd just dip the spoon/fork in his bowl then pick it up with his fingers :haha: we make a massive fuss of him when he gets it right, then he does it more because he likes our reaction.
Work for me today!

Ah, she's not too bothered it seems, she only got mad again when I wouldn't let her play with the Hoover! :haha: she loves it. Strange child! Jen tried to feed herself yogurt but got bored with the spoon and just picked it up and drank it! Haha.

Maria can't feed herself with a spoon yet, she uses her fingers

Glad Jen is ok

Aw poor Jen! They all fall over now and again. Amazingly, Holly has never been cut or bruised (yet). She's always diving off stuff and doing daredevil stunts, so I'm surprised. She won't spoonfeed herself either, just lobs it all on the floor.

Does anyone want to buy her for a small fee? She's driving me nuts :haha:

Well currently AM is standing at the french doors with her lips push up against the window going woo wooo wooo wooooo. I guess once you have a toddler your windows are never clean again!

I just took out all the rattles etc from AM's toybox to put away as she's too big for them now. Why are things so much more interesting when I'm trying to sort them?! She kept grabbing them and running away!

Oh yeah windows will be clean again. Maria is always rubbing her grotty hands all over them.

Haha she doesn't want you to put them away!

Hi losers!!
Sorry i've not been posting, i've been pretty busy! Not with the kids tho, just the in-laws!
Saying that tho, they are an absolutely massive help and have just paid £500 to have all the blinds installed in our house :) Plus Malcs mum walks tabitha every day and always goes to the shops so we've not bought food for weeks!
Hope everyone is good? Has Maria started sleeping thru now Nats?
Sapphire, i'll take Holly, one more will make no difference!
How is AMs rash blondey?
Emmy, are you ok with your BFN?
Jen sounds like she has a right little personality - T is the same and has started mini tantrums already, mainly just shouting at us or her granny!

Got the wee man weighed today - 6lbs 9 already and he was only 5,13 on Sunday....
Bought him new tiny baby sleepsuits as well today and by the looks of it he wont be in them for long....
Mothercare ballsed up our cot we ordered, got it in brown instead of white but the woman sent a white one and said the driver would collect the brown one... he had no idea so now we have 2 cots... will leave it a few months then return the brown one for a refund :)
