The losers club

Aww that's cute lettuce!

Yeah apparently the hosp was ram raided last night and the cash machine was stolen lol. Looks well nice all boarded up and cordoned off :dohh:

Hope everyone's had a nice day! We went the zoo but it was mainly all different kind of birds but was still a nice afternoon out. Rory still enjoyed it. He liked the meerkats especially. Love how he just stares at the animals and laughs. Going take him west midlands safari park soon and we also have a monkey forest local so taking him there soon too.
Were having cottage pie for tea, Dh is cooking it now and smells gorge. Get rory in bed for 7 and then watch take me out, love that programme

Sounds like a nice day fabby! We had a party today. One of AM's friends. She was a slight monkey. Kept crying and arching her back when I would let her in the garden. Everytime I relented she wouldn't stay on the decking and kept trying to go on the grass in her socks!!

We've got beef casserole tonight.

Another yellow mash potato nappy this morning :( She seems ok-ish in herself so not sure what it could be?!

I love take me out too. Although I have to record the first half hour or so so I can ff the ads!!

They are just at that age now where the begin to know they have a mind for themselves and want to fullfill their mind goings on iygwim.

Enjoy your tea blondey

Sounds nice blondey and fabby! Cheeky AM ;)
Jen shouted at her cousin, and tried to steal her shoes and toys! :haha:
We're having pasta bolognase, when Jen wakes up! :dohh:

Thats a late nap lettuce! Rorys absolutely shattered, the fresh air as really knocked him out. He will be in bed before 7. I'm shattered too

Yeah, but she was so tired after playing with Sophie. :( I wanted her to nap about 3:30 but she wouldn't, tried for ages and in the end DH walked her to tesco to get some bread. She's woken uso just after I typed that, so we'll have dinner and give her a bath and wind her down, she still seems tired.
It was funny to see her today, she was her usual funny self and DHs aunt (sophie's gran) was saying "she's noisy and busy isn't she?" I don't like his aunt, she's a bit of a moony interfering woman, so I was just saying "yes, she's very bright and happy isn't she?" hahaha. Sophie is a lovely child, quite quiet, but very good really.
I still feel unwell, headaches, a bit sick feeling :( kinda weird. Sore throat too.

Oh my god. My child is currently in his cot wailing like a banshee because I've dared to put him to bed when he's tired. I've been back in 3 times to lay him back down and not spoken to him. This is so hard. I am so not used to this :nope:

We had that yesterday Kimmy. We ended up getting AM back up for a while, then she did a disgusting poop and then went down. She whinged a bit but I left her to it and she fell asleep. Hope Archie settles soon!!

Enjoy your bolognaise Lettuce!!

Haha well done you lettuce for sticking up for your gorgeous daughter! Bet that put her in a place and shut her up!

Sorry didn't see your post kimmy, hope he settles soon. Could you just go sit next to him or will that disturb him more?

Thanks girls. Tried sitting next to him the other night Fabby and it didn't work for us. He just kept his little eyes on me the whole time :( he's gone to sleep now but I feel terrible  wish hubby was here

Don't feel bad Kimmy! :hugs: They are at the age now where they know how to play us. Crying every now and again isn't going to do them any harm. They aren't going to feel abandoned of that mummy will never come if they cry. I usually leave AM if she whingy crying iykwim? Where she'll cry for a few secs then stop and carry on. She usually settles herself.

Her kisses have got even cuter. She does the noise now. Although it's after the kiss, but she'll purse her lips and make a kiss noise! Absolutely adorable!! And she knows up. If you say 'up' to her she'll lift her arms. I can't believe how clever she's getting!!

Awwwww its ace this age is isn't it blondey where they just do stuff which you think, wow, as if they know that or know how do that! Rory pats me now when we cuddle and says rrrrrr!

If you've tried comforting him kimmy and he doesn't want that, then there's not much more you can do really but to let him be :hugs:

Oh no! Poor you kimmy! :( Archie is usually great isn't he? Wonder what was going on. Is there a developmental thing about that age? You know like separation anxiety when they're younger?
Ha, fabby, it did briefly shut her up, her other daughter is pregnant and she kept telling us how ill she was and how awful she looked! :( I felt sorry for her, I'm sure it didn't need pointed out! She came to visit in the hospital after Jenny was born and kept going on about breastfeeding, her daughters labour- how quick it was cos she was so active right up til the end... :dohh: such a pain.
Dinner was good, plus I've given Jen some porridge again. She's been sleeping a bit longer with it.

Sorry, double posted! Awww to Rory and AM!

I've heard of a few mums doing 'supper' for their LO's to help with sleep. Can't see any harm if it helps her sleep!! Personally we've never done it, but only because we don't have time as bath is quite soon after dinner and then it's straight to bed!! Is the porridge working becuase you're lacing it with night nurse Lettuce :haha: :winkwink:

Don't tempt me blondey! :dohh: lol, I'm just giving it as a sort of dessert instead of yogurt or fruit. She doesn't like eating it in the morning weirdly enough and someone suggested nighttime as it was easier to wash off in a bath!:haha:
Btw, when I say sleeping better, I mean shes only up 3 times... ;)

I usually give Maria some porridge for supper if I have time.

:hugs: Kimmy

Urgh I feel so ill :( Maria is mostly better though, she had a good day at the beach today and she seems to have lost her shyness as she was going up to everyone for hugs!

I thought everyone gave their LOs calpol flavoured porridge before bed time? :winkwink:
Hope you're feeling better soon Nats!
Thanks for all the love girls. I felt terrible ignoring him but it worked. Fell asleep at 7:30 and I didn't hear a single peep til 5am then up for the day at 7.
The sun is shining here and I'm happy :)

Morning everyone. Yeah rory gets porridge before bed most nights because he has his tea at about 4-430pm plus he doesn't drink much milk at bedtime either which he hasnt since around 6 month old. Sometimes he polishes his bowl others he doesn't.
Rory was coughing all night, I seriously don't know how he still slept. He woke crying about 3pm but was one of those cry outs then back sleep.
We had planned go soft play today, prob will still go will see how he is. He looks poorly, full of cold
