Maria fell asleep in the car last night (at 7:20) and I managed to move her into the cot and she slept til 3 but then she wouldnt settle again and came into bed with me, and then slept til 7. But still she slept well and didn't have booby or even a bottle before bed.

Rorys really not well, hes asleep already. Think just a walk out this afternoon will be enough for him. What a gorgeous sunny day! Feel like having a bbq!

Kimmy. When Holly is like that I try 3 things. Turn the baby monitor off and let her scream herself silly. Bring her back downstairs and bung her in front of baby tv til she zombifies. If all else fails, calpol It won't harm them once in a while to scream, despite what all the do-gooders say. If you're on your own, sometimes it's all you can do to save your sanity.

DH has been away for 2 weeks this time, he's back Fri. For a change, Holly has been the least of my worries Mind you, since I've been writing this, H has climbed on the sofa 7 times and is currently running up and down on it. I'm quite tempted to let her fall off. Actually, she has just fallen off and seems quite unpeturbed

Lovely day isn't it? Went for a walk with Maria to get her to nap and then went to the shop to buy loads of chocolate to make myself feel better about Maria stopping feeding.

We went to church this morning and was having a cup of tea afterwards and Maria was clinging to my legs but then she saw a boy about 5 or 6 years old and she chased after him - she does like older men

Yeah, I'm getting my mothers day next week. Think DH is taking us to st Andrews for the day! we just had a nice lunch at mil's house and Jenny entertained. She's such a funny kid.

I hope jen becomes an electrician or plumber or something!

oh sapphire! how difficult for you. When my brother was feeling that way we all had to take turns "keeping him company", it was hard. I really hope things improve soon. Thinking of you all. I know can't be much help,but if there's anything we can do for you.

Weve been to the fun factory this morning for 2 hours, come in and gave rory his dinner and he was flat out within seconds. Had a brill morning and he totally worn himself out. he was just walking from one thing to another which put a huge smile on my face, so proud cant believe how much more confident he's gone just over the last couple of days.

Going get the paints out for him this afternoon. Was going go to a new playgroup but don't think he will be awake in time now.

Was going to go to Cambridge today but feel too ill so just gonna do a little shopping in Newmarket to get the stuff I need to take home with me.
