afternoon ladies, how are we all today?

Bob's taken the girls to his mums as she's paying him to valet her car and the girls love spending time with their nannan so I'm home alone, caught up on the housework and now relaxing.

We got to the house and met the agent and she knocked on the door to check the tenant was out, and no one answered so she opened the door... and some gobby chavvy teenager came storming in from the front room saying "What do you think you're doing?! You can't just let yourself in here!!" And then her mum came through, the actual tenant, while the agent told them that she was here as a viewing had been arranged and that she would have been informed we were coming... woman swore blind she knew nothing of it, and as far as she was concerned, they were in the house until November, even got out a letter from the Landlord to confirm it The tenant the proceeded to rant and rave about all the trouble she has had with her landlord not repairing things when asked, etc etc. Seems to us like they are being evicted, but not really sure, so we are just going to stay in the flat. Was horrible having to grovel to my landlady about it But she seemed quite relieved that we would be staying on for another year. Just disappointed that I won't be getting my garden

Seems like me and OH always have bad luck. This is the second time this year we have been thwarted in our plans to leave the flat. Perhaps we should just accept that we are meant to be here? x x

Thanks... after listening to her horror stories though, I think we may have had a narrow escape from a nasty landlord. But, I could see into the house and it looked nice still *wistful sigh*

imagine how that poor family feel - chavvy or not - they learnt they were getting kciked out when you showed up :S poor things

Not only that, but last week, they lost their son/brother in a fire apparently. I felt awful for intruding on their space at such a sensitive time.

Our tenancy is a year because it falls nicely that way - 6 months would leave us having to look over Xmas time.

Well, we can get out of ours at any point with a months notice, but would have to also pay an admin fee. We reckon we'll just keep it for another year, and look for a house to start at the end of that term if we can. The flat is big enough - 2 dbl bedrooms, big living room, kitchen/diner and 2 balconies, one of which has an office sized storage cupboard off it. So it will be OK, a house would just be nicer. Plus, well noisy neighbours here!

Just had a call back from the agent, who confirmed that the tenants are being evicted, as of the end of july. But, I know for a fact that evictions do not always go to plan, and not willing to go out on a limb like that... need to be sensible! x

Sounds very sensible, plus from what the lady said, it sounds like that house will need some repairs x

Your reading reveals that your BFP news comes the month of September from a cycle that begins in August. The baby shows as a girl and her EDD/birthdate is referenced the month of May 2011 - specific reference to the 16th and 20th.

Hmmm cant see it coming true personally.

I've been tempted to get one of those readings but I can't exactly put how long my cycles are or anything so don't know if it would work.
