Aw Ley, sorry about the MIL and the test. She sounds like my nan - I love nan to bits, but I'm sure she has something wrong with her perception of size. She's about a size 20 I'd say, but is convinced she fits into a 14. She has to heft herself into 14s though, and looks absolutely terrible, and so uncomfortable, with a huuuuge spill over. I literally do not know how she gets through the day wearing clothes that are that much too small for her. Yet she is always the first to pick up on anyone elses issues - "Oooh have you put on weight, your jeans look tight!" and the like. I remember her having an argument when I lived with her about bras - I was 17 at the time and wearing a 32C, and Nan was buying herself the same size :dohh: I tried telling her the obviously didn't fit her properly, but she didn't seem to understand and tried telling me that if they fit me, they fit her, despite me being a size 8 at the time! Some people!

I have really rambled there oops :blush: My nan just stresses me out. Soooo, got in with the uni dentist today. I was soooo scared I was shaking as I went in there. She picked up on the prob right away - I'd only gone and broken a bloody tooth! Gave me an xray, before which she said, "Now, there is no way you could be pregnant is there?" Felt like answering, I bloody wish! :haha: Got an infection in there, so had to have all that drilled out and filled. I have never had anaesthetic before (this was my first ever filling!) and it was so weird! I panicked big time as I couldn't wiggle my nose! It still hasn't worn off, and as I cant close my mouth properly, I keep dribbling every time I drink!! Anyway, I've been prescribed anti-biotics in case the infection returns, but they will stop my pill working properly - can anyone say OOPSIE??!!

Bad news is, if today's treatment doesn't work, I'll need to have root canal treatment :huh: bit nervous about that prospect! x x
 
Oh and jobs! Got a reply back from a maternity cover position I applied for - 6 months with the poss to go permanent. The agency want me to go in and see them next week. Hoping this is a good sign! x

Leah-hope your hear more off the others companies to , least you've heard something yey. Ive sorted my ticker out now. Need to ring midwife now to make sure its ok.
I said to oh I doubt i will get pregnant quick cos im worried about cerazette and he just said his super swimmers will be fine lol.ooh im excited now.
Ive just had tea, mince and pasta and then some yummy icecream. i think i might pop to shop realy want some sweets x
 
Well I've just bought the healthiest bunch of food ever... Ben and jerrys, galaxy chocolate, twister ice lollies and carrot and coriander soup :rofl: oh and trifle! Obviously I'm not going to eat it all at once but it's all I fancied in the world! xx

Haha super spermies, my OH is the same, that is what has put him off using withdrawal when I finish the pill. Maybe this month we will see how super they really are, thanks to the antibiotics :haha: I'm secretly hoping they are so super that they have capes and a theme tune!!

As for the tooth, it seems to have cured the pain, as it has stopped throbbing. But as I will probably need the root canal anyway, I think I'll wait until I get my free preggo dental care, provided the pain stays away. Need one ripping out as well :nope: I was so scared while I was waiting for the anaesthetic to work, that I was literally shivering - and in this heat!

Minted chicken sounds amazing Mush - I need your OH to teach mine how to cook! He struggles with even the most basic thing if left on his own, but is OK if we cook together... i.e. he chops and peels only haha x x
