Personally I would never sign for a house without viewing it.. But it's up to you! Are you certain the viewings are all of that house or are the agents just booked up in general with viewings? They do lie though to get your signature!

Hmmm not sure... they are swindon based so could be in general, not just for there, will find out. We're gonna go nose in the windows in a min, and decide where to go from there. I'm more worried about not getting a proper feel for the space without looking than mice or the like, as landlord can always fix that. I agree that signing without a viewing is not the best idea in the world... just have to see what Dan wants to do. And will call the agent an find out how many viewings are for that house. It is about £150 below average for 3beds here, so a bargain - not always a good thing!! Will let you know how we get on x x x

Good luck Leah, I know how you feel as we have been looking at private rent for ages but the nice ones always get snapped up before we can even view them.

not everyone breaks up - my relationship idols (lol, yes i do have idols... ) are my Nana and Grandad - together from 18 until Grandad passed last year... and even at the end every time one walked into a room, even just passing through, they'd touch each other some how - a kiss, or touch hands or pat on a shoulder... aww we miss him so much!

awww I'm welling up here! he was a wonderful man, in so many ways that I didnt realise until his obituary as he was such a quiet man. they would do anything for each other!

My nan didnt know how to pay a single bill until he died, he took care of everything like that...

Soooo... back now. Area was soooo perfect - lovely secluded cul-de-sac, really quiet, out of the town centre (we can hear the main road from the flat, which I hate), but on the bus route, huuuuge green outside for the future kiddies to play on aaaaaah... I'm in love and have yet to see inside

Turns out the tenant is still in there, and had closed all the curtains, so we couldn't have a nosey. But we got a look in the garden through the fence, and it's rather large. Spoke to the agent a little more, and he was able to give us a better idea of the size. Did say though, that the landlord had specified no dogs... but may give some leeway to a reliable tenant after they had been there for a while.

We didn't want to be too rash without being able to nose in the front room through the window at least, so instead we have come to an agreement with the agent to remove it from the market for us on payment of our credit check fees. Thought that was reasonable, as we are pretty certain we want it, and if we don't we don't loose that much. So I now have the lovely task of checking through our finances to make sure we can afford the deposit etc before we go ahead and reserve it! He'll be taking us for a full viewing on Sat morning to seal the deal if we do... I'm soooo excited!!
