I posted a link to this on another thread. I thought it may be helpful to some. This is my first cycle to try it so we will see how it works. I (being impatient) already skipped to the cough syrup part lol. So I hope it works right.

I am using preseed and opk and temp charting...hubby did his own reading this morning and has increased his coffee intake hoping for a boy lol.

I just read about it last night. I'd be willing to try it on my next go around...not sure how my hubby would take having to do stuff though. I usually keep all this to myself cause I don't want our sex lives to become only about making a baby.

The only problem with this plan is that if your DH has a low sperm count, having sex 3 days in a row can actually be detrimental. Everyone 2nd day seems to be what most fertility specialists recommend - you'd think that if it was as simple as this plan makes it out to be, then more of them would recommend. Plus if you have really long cycles then I imagine it would take all of the fun out of sex very quickly.

Thanks for this. We are planning on trying this kind of thing this month (I am on CD3 of my first AF after mc at moment). When we first started trying we tended to go a while without :sex: and then cram a few times in around ov, but it never seemed to work. The month I conceived we had DTD every 2-3 days from the end of AF until just before ov and it worked  So this is what we plan to try again. I also had acupuncture for the first time so plan to have that again too!

Good luck to all ladies trying again after a loss x

I totally understand that thought process...I'm like honey, I just took my cough medicine...you got something I need lol. Since it's our first month of trying this, I don't know how he's gonna hold up lol. We shall see! Good luck!

I agree with the low sperm count for sure, and yes if you have a longer cycle it would become more of a chore...lol or at least it would be for me, hubby would think he hit the lotto!

Wow acupuncture, that's a new one to me! I figure the plan can't hurt so I'd take it for a spin...I think I'd try anything....if someone told me to stand on my head and gargle something while singing to american idol I'd try it...or at least think about it

    HA HA HA me too!!!!

I've heard about the acupuncture and I may try that if nothing else works. I have a long cycle since my two loses 35 days on average (ovulating on cd 23/24). So I'm going to hold off on the sex every other day till closer to ovulation. but I'll definitely try the sex both nights of a positive opk then break and one the next night. I also got the preseed to try
