thick white cm with stretchy mucus/snot like strings

Last month I tthought I was pregnant bit I got a very short af barely two days and light. The following week instead of usual dry days I experienced milky white discharge. One day after wiping I got a huge glob of stretchy white cm with a few mucus like spots and it was stretchy like ewcm. Now I have a funny feeling in the bottom of my tummy and after checking my cervix I found that it was pretty high and kinda soft and also got more of the white cm and snot like strings? anyone experience this and was preggo? Could that have been my mucus plug.... the stringy parts looked like the pics I saw on Google images
