I have been told several times that the last couple of months is the hardest, and i am beginning to understand why! I feel so heavy! I dont sleep properly because the weight of the baby hurts my hips, and because it hurts my hips i find myself wanting to switch sides alot. However switching sides is uncomfortable an sometimes painful because my uterus is so damn weighty! I had 3hrs sleep last night, and i cant get back to sleep so far today. Did i mention morning sickness has returned??? :growlmad: Grrrr! Just keep telling myself NOT LONG NOW!

I hope everyone else is ok & not suffering to bad! Have a good weekend xxx

I agree the weeks always seem to pass so much slower in the last trimester. I'm sure its natures way of helping to prepare us for sleepless nights when baby arrives!

I completely agree!! Knowing that I'm being induced at 37 weeks leaves a bit of hope still in me... That this will come to an end lol sleep is rubbish, tired and lethargic all the time.. Plus I am so over my insulin injections twice a day every day!
Can't wait to have this baby lol

I'm reading this at almost 5am...still awake!!! hang in there, it's not long until the end :D

i was really different with my first i felt pregnant for years but with this one the first 33 weeks went by soooo fast, then 34, 35 and 36 weeks seemed to slow down and now i am sitting here feeling like these four days have been years... ive been emotional all week and having lots of pains and random contractions on top of bhs but unless concrete i dont have to go in. i think there teasing us!!!!!

NOT LONG NOW LADIES

thats what we have to keep thinking lol

Everything up until now went so fast, but now it really feels like time is dragging, Ive still got so much to do, but dont really want to do any of it until a few weeks time >.<

Couldn't agree more, although I have a feeling I'm going to get more and more uncomfortable as the weeks go by, and so I'm afraid to admit that things are starting to get rough at this stage.

But, I hardly got any sleep last night and I'm not even really sure why...probably mostly worry that I was crushing LO, the occasional hip pain, the fact that my ankle is swollen and I didn't want to sleep on that side and cause it to swell more, unable to sleep in general due to frustration with the whole experience of sleep itself. My mind won't allow it or something. Just knowing my body is basically hijacked.

I'd really kinda like to get back to having my own body...and having LO on the outside would be nice!

I agree Mazzy. The one thing i look forward to doing when LO is here, is having a nice sleep on my belly!! Sounds silly i know but my god do i hate layin on my sides all the time lol

I though this first time round and couldn't wait for birth so I could sleep on my front. Then I realised I had two huge boobs that meant sleeping on my front was not possible. Sorry to burst the bubble but I wished someone had told me this, I was so disappointed!!! Generally sleeping was more comfortable after birth, just very limited due to having a new baby!!!
