been for my GTT this morning and there was a woman who got sent home cos she couldnt have it done.

Why not? cos she'd been drinking coke all morning

I was in hospital at 35w and the woman opposite drank coke or mountain dew all day literally nothing else and then moaned about her babies heart rate going crazy on the monitor saying somethings wrong with them when clearly it was all the crap she was drinking sent them hyper.

Also nurses checked her bin when she was asleep as she hid empty crisp packets etc lol

I imagine she had. She had gone without food but not coke. Nobody else had been drinking.

my ex's mother once told me a story were she had to starve herself over night for a diabetes test. She was told to eat and drink nothing but water and then on the morning of the test she goes ahead and has a cup of tea with 2 sugars in it!! and she thought that, that would be okay!

i had to starve my self from night before and only drink water but they didnt give me a tea with 2 sugars more like a gloopy lucozade LOL

And I didn't have to starve at all! I did mine after lunch...and I still passed!
