hi.. i'm on cd 17 and i'm feeling a little desperate.. I have pcos, and over the last year my cycles have ranged from 41 down to 28 day cycles.. last month was a perfect cycle.. 28 days.. o'd on cd 13/14 temps went up then dropped before af.. (just started temping last month

welp, here i am on cd 17 and haven't had any significant rise.. i had plenty of sypmtoms of o from cd 10-14 and still have creamy/milky cm to this day..

cp has changed from high soft and squishy to medium firm back to high and soft
it's high right now and feels like my tongue..

i have regular periods.. so that means i'm ovulating right? haven't not had a period since last year when it was a few weeks late... but nothing like that since, just longer cycles..

i've lost about 30 lbs and in doing so i think that's what has made my cycles shorter and more regular..

can any of you look at my chart and tell me what you see?

i feel demoralized and desperate at the moment..

dh and i have been ntnp for 2 years now and nothing.. :( i'm feeling really low.. *need a hug* lol

Hi there

I have pcos too - it stinks not being regular. So hard to predict.

I'm not a chart pro but looking at your chart I would say you haven't o'd yet. Are you using OPK or anything to predict ovulation or are you just charting?

Being regular does not necessarily mean you have ovulated - especially with pcos. Are you seeing an RE for your pcos? If not I recommend that you start. They can help you ovulate with a few different medications (I only ovulate 3-4 times a year without them). I also advise getting a SA on him as well if for nothing else than peace of mind.

we just changed our status from ntnp last month.. i'm going to make an appointment soon. each month i'm taking up a new method.. charting started last cycle about 7 days before af started so i had a good idea of temps after o.. now... they won't go up..
i'm going to go buy some opt's tomorrow i think.. :( i hate this...

I did the same thing - each month I'd add a new ovulation tracking method. I started with OPK and now I am using OPK, CBEFM, charting and since going to an RE they are doing ultrasound scans to monitor follicle development and trigger ovulation :) - I'm attacking it from all sides lol

We were ntnp for about a year and have been ttc for about 4 months. With pcos we have had only 2 cycles since ttc though - RE won't start next round of meds if you have a large cyst so I lose abt 2 weeks after each cycle. Now that they have found the med to make me ov I am hoping next cycle is easier and am asking santa for a :bfp: for Christmas.

Definitely make an appointment with a fertility specialist. My OB/G was pretty useless. Since it isn't their specialty it seems most just prescribe clomid and hope for the best. An RE will have lots more knowledge and treatments to choose from and will monitor to make sure any meds they give you for ovulation aren't causing overstimulation, etc.

I also felt a whole lot better about our chance and more in control of my situation after meeting with an RE and getting a plan. The irregularity of pcos makes everything seem so out of your control and like you are 'defective' - for me at least. So having a plan in place and knowing I was taking action helped to make the process a little easier. I feel much less helpless about the whole thing.

Thank u so much for your response mrs bear !! Somehow reading that comforted my feelings tremendously.

Thought I just had * why am I sad, o hasn't happened yet, thats great! I can still catch it!

I've been kind if sad all evening.. Feel like things are looking up.. :) one big reason i love this board. You ladies are so helpful!

I cant see a pattern where you have ov at all but you still got time.gl

You're welcome

sometimes staying positive is the hardest part of ttc. hope you can catch your ov this month.
