But are Pack n' Play's ok for a new born baby to sleep in when they sleep in our bedroom for the first few months? Or is it something that is better for just napping in, not for proper full nights sleep?

Please help!! Im trying to decide if i should buy one or not. Hubby is making our baby's cot, but that will go straight into the nursary. Need something convenient for the bedroom :)

we're going to be using the pack 'n play in our room for the first 6 months or so, the crib will be in the baby's room. I will try and nap the baby in the crib to get him/her used to it. My son last time did the opposite napped in the pack n'play and slept in his crib (which was in my room) but then we had to take the crib apart to get it into his room, so this time he'll sleep in the pack n' play in my room!!! My son had no trouble going back in forth, if anything the pack n play is a little smaller so may feel comfier for the baby.

good luck.

As long as it has a proper matress it is grand x
