my daughter was 21 months when daughter #2 arrived.
My eldest goes in the pushchair and i carry my other daughter in a baby carrier,i hate double buggys! lol
Im planning on doing this until my eldest can walk everywhere

We still use ours a lot. He's too slow to walk to nursery in the morning for example. We walk lots but usually have the pram for when he's tired. I'm due in April when Byron will be 29 months. If we get a pram we'll get a double that can be converted to single too.

A lot of times she just walks, but if we're going to be gone for a while I bring the stroller just in case. I also use it if she gets a bit wild and tries to run off.

My DD was just turning 2 when DS was born....we got an iCandy pear double, it meant we could use it as a double or a single and it was really handy!

We used that up until DD was 2yrs 6 months ish, which was when she wanted to walk everywhere....now she won't even go near a buggy, little miss independant!
Soo we just have a single buggy now and DD walks everywhere, wish she would still go in a buggy sometimes though, shes such a pain when out shopping!!
