Thoughts on 2 middle names

Just wondering if anyone is giving or already gave your child two middle names and why?

We do this in my family...the third name (second middle name) is a family name, grandma or aunt etc...my sister and I have this ourselves. I did it with dd1 and have planned the names for this baby as well....no one really uses them, it's more a birth certificate thing but also a way to honour a family member if you are not super fussy on the name!

My girls both do but I only use 1 in day to day stuff and they dont use DD second middle name at school x

My kids only have one middle name each but I wouldn't hesitate to use two if I liked two! xx

My brother and I both have 2 middle names as our parents liked the flow of them together. We gave our daughter 2 middle names, one was my fave name and one was hubby's. We couldn't decide the order to put them in as we liked them both equally, then we found another name in a book and liked it even more, so we used both our favourites in the middle. We found one order flowed better than the other.

However, to make it "fair" we have decided to give this one 2 middle names as well, and it has been a nightmare trying to find something we love that flows well, but I think we've done it!

my son has two middle names. His name is Riley Joshua Noah. I really wanted him to be Riley Joshua, but loved Noah so had to use that too! x
