Throwing up stomach acid :(

I'm over 9 weeks now and feel awful 24/7 and am sick a few times a day.it is generally burning acid that comes up which hurts and makes me even more sick. I'm keeping some food down so dont think it's because stomach really empty am also on cyclizine but don't think it helps. Would something like gavisgon help?( think spelt right?) what do others do to help this?

I never experienced sickness with my previous pregnancy. I've seen a lot of suggestions including sulking on hard candies and mints, ginger tea, ginger biscuits,.

I don't know if it will help the sickness but it will help the acid. I got acid reflux in third tri with DS and the burning feeling is horrible.

Hun I feel your pain. I was throwing up bile all yesterday and it's disgusting. I am on Phenergan (promethazine) 20mg before bed which is fab but yesterday my GP gave me a cyclizine shot which stopped the nausea and vomiting completely. Don't suffer - get some better meds! Cyclizine pills were rubbish for me in my first pregnancy. Domperidone were better but Phenergan are life savers. Good luck xxx

Thanks stickylizard glad I'm not alone it's disgusting!ive been in avomine and metro something both of which didn't help. I wonder if I should go back and try something else. Hate being on all these drugs but really would like my life back
