Thrush in the bf toddler

Do I need to boil hard spout sippies that go through the dishwasher, his toothbrush, and his teethers every day of the gentian violet treatment? How have others dealt with well-chewed board books? He still mouths them when he reads. I don't need to destroy them do I? Will rubbing them down with grapefruit seed extract be sufficient or would that ruin the board book anyway?
Is there special pump treatment for when baby has thrush? Thanks in advance!
