hi girls does anyone have any info on having a tilted uterus or a hole in the womb, my gynaecologist said i have these after i had an op done for treatment of endo. can these cause miscarriages? thanks for any replies

I have know lots of women who had a tilted uterus and gone on to have lovely babies. I think in some cases it can make it harder to get pg depending in how it's tilted.

I have not heard of a hole though.

I would talk to your doc and see if she can give you more info.

Good luck though!!

I have a tilted uterus they told me that it would not make it harder to get pregnant

My cervix is also retroverted towards the spine, so in my case it make it easier to get pregnant. So it totally depend on which cay it is facing, but you should be able to feel it at certain points in your cycle, at least that way you know how to lay after BD. In my twenties I could get pregnant within a couple months of trying. After my TR, it is still easy to get pregnant, the sticking part is not happening.

I have a tilted cervix. Getting pregnant is not a problem. Again, it is the sticking that is...

I have a tilted uterus, and we had to try iui.... currently waiting to see the out come... best wishes for you.

spoke to doc mine is towards spine too. I think it causes me pain during BD in certain positions :nope:. what does TR mean please?

I also have a Tilted Uterus and have 2 Big boys so getting PG before I turned 30 wasn't an issue.... I have an excessive curve in my spine which I think contributes to the Uterus tilt... Each pregnancy seemed to be more difficult to handle but they where also 10yrs Apart Maybe it's old Age!!!! Lol

Also depending on tilt and opening to the cervix U might always have to have a Csection... My 1st was reg delivery but he had complications and I feel he should have been a Csection to prevent those issues 2nd Son was Csection W no complications!!!

I do agree w above ladies about the sticking part I had a MC in Oct2012 it seemed because of poor implantation but who really knows..

FYI I think TR above stands for: Tubal Reversal

Wishing U All the Best!!!

I too have a tilted uterus. No problems getting pg, at 1st. Had my 1st baby at 17, then 4 more by the time I was 24, with my ex. Tried for another with my current DH and it took a year, sadly she was born sleeping. I'm now 35, and it seems to take longer the older I get. We are currently trying. Hopefully it doesn't take another year.

I had a tubal reversal in October 2011. My cervix is so far back that my gyn has to manually move it during a pap. My tubes are open and my doctor said that I have the "cervix of a 30 year old", but I am 39. 4 pregnancies since the reversal.
