Timing?

Hello all!

So, I'm on my first cycle after lap and had a positive OPK today. My DH had a SA in July which showed a low count (haven't done a repeat yet) We've been BD every other day since cd6. Today is cd11...should we BD today or wait until tomorrow? I don't want to mess up my chances....

If you have the energy and the inclination, why not BD today and tomorrow as well for good measure?? I know, it's easier said than done sometimes!!

Hey miss marls - if he had a low count and you are waiting for a re-test then every 48 hours is best. We have been told to wait 48-60 hours between BD to maximise our chances - anymore often and it will just be seminal fluid with very few sperm.

I think maybe we'll wait until tomorrow morning, although after waiting four weeks after surgery only BDing three times this week is like torture . I even went out and bought some pre-seed today...

Don't worry i have got a nice big tube on my bedside table!!

I got my smiley ovulation face on my CB Digi today so we will be all stations go today - bonus of being told we were being referred for IVF - i'm not getting my hopes up for a so the 2ww is less torturous!!!

I have no self control...BD yesterday afternoon (had to try out PreSeed, never used it before) and again this am. Oh well...at least I had fun! Now for the 2ww...*sigh*

Miss Marls~ I am on my first cycle after my lap as well! Sounds like we are about a week apart. I am 7-8ish dpo today. I hope your 2ww goes faster than what mine has!! I think I am gonna test on Thursday which will be 10-11dpo.

Hoping we both get our s this cycle!! I am actually hopeful this month because of the 3 month fertile window after a lap. In saying that, if it's a I will be utterly devastated.

Gotta say having 2 cycles of TTC after the SA were done was nice because it took only hours to forget where i was in my cycle and it was bliss being able to get up in the morning and pee without thinking 'temp' or 'opk'

I like the preseed though, it's pretty good stuff especially if you want to 'go! go! go!' but your body isn't quite ready for it

I have my fingers crossed for you...and Beckic as well is on her first post lap cycle as well.
As for the 2ww, well as much as I keep telling myself to not think about it...I'm already wondering about each small twinge I feel and I'm only about 1-2 dpo! Here we go again! My poor,poor husband. Even worse, my DH is in school right now so he's on the computer all night (I've snuck on while he's taking a shower) which means I can't google every symptom I feel during the two weeks!
