Tiny dot of pink colour at top and bottom of frer - faulty?

I agree I'm not seeing anything on the superdrug in that second pic but defo saw something on the take-apart FRER. I don't have a lot of experience taking them apart but that looks like a dark enough dried line that it would have shown through the plastic case. FWIW my FRER squinters/evaps never show that dark, even when dried, but I agree with others that there may be some effect when the strip is taken out of the case (maybe it reacts with air in some way?) that the line darkens?
