Tips on how to calm down and get the nurses and doctors away from you in the hospital

Ummm I had the opposite problem I was pretty much left to it from when I got in there until I was telling my OH I was ready to push. Then they said I couldn't possibly be ready to push (as I had only been 3cm dilated 2 hours before) but I was fully dilated and ready.

I found the long deep breaths worked for me, i stayed at home until I felt I had to go to hospital, by then I was 4cm dilated. When I phoned the hosp to say I was on my way the lady on the phone basically wanted me to go home again as she thought I wouldn't be in "established" labour, how wrong was she..lol
My MW's were lovely only popping in to check babys heartbeat and make sure we were ok even brought my OH coffee, although I wouldnt let his hand go so he only got 1 cup.haha!
