TMI* Leaking Discharge/fluid?

Hi I'm just asking if anyone else has experienced this.
I'm 15 weeks 4 day's and for the last 5 days I've been leaking and getting discharge. I've been using thrush cream on off during pregnancy as I do keep getting a lot. I was told that was normal in pregnancy!

I seem to leak more so when I'm standing and walking around, sometimes when I cough, but not so much. The worse time is after I've emptied my bladder. I stay sitting for a couple extra minutes just to make sure its empty. As soon as I finish and walk I leak. So i've started wearing pads to check.

Sorry TMI Its yellow and smells like lemons? Sorry for that. Just wondering if its urine why is it happening even after I've emptied my bladder

idk if its urine...if you have a doctors appointment coming up soon i would bring it up to your doctor...i know nothing about losing fluids so i dont want to say its that for sure but it sounds like it to me. If you are really worried about it call your after hours and see what they think you should do but til then id drink tons of water just in case you are losing fluids cause im not sure if its normal or okay to lose any fluids.

I had similar at about 17 weeks... one day turned out to be wee lol..
Coz depending on how your uterus is is wheathr u can empty it all or a little sits in the tubes comjng down from the bladder and then without knowing u let wee out. ..
Then also at that point to match I got really watery discharge as well which freaked me out coz I thoughy it wad my waters...

Midwife ssaid put a pad on an measurw and let her know...

Was only disxharge and wee and she said usually too early to be leaking... but u can never be too sure so ring your mw and ask them

It usually is urine.. and just to share MY experience with sometimes leaking urine/peeing myself entirely... It turns out that I'm MUCH more likely to leak a little urine RIGHT after I've peed.

And yes, my pee smells like lemons. hahaha... Amniotic fluid usually has a sweet smell... and sometimes no smell at all.

Honestly, I have TONS of discharge and can't help but pee myself sometimes... I'm pretty sure it's about as normal as all the rest of this fun pregnancy stuff is. Lol sorry lady.

Hi just came back from midwife she has no clue what's going on and even rang the hospital to ask and they have no clue?

I did hear bubs heartbeat which kind of put my mind at ease, but if leaking carries on I've got to ring labour ward and have a scan just to double check as i'm having small contractions as well, at only 16 weeks?

She seems to think my waters may be breaking and leaking slowly :S

Lots of discharge including watery discharge is normal in pregnancy.
I would say get checked ASAP... I suffered ruptured membranes at 17 weeks in my last pregnancy and lost our baby girl at 19 weeks.
I'm not trying to scare you - what happened to me happens to less that 1% of people. I'm just very very paranoid about this.

i though I was leaking fluid around 15 weeks, ran to the dr. She tested me and basically told me ive been peeing myself lol. And now its only gotten worse. I think baby is constantly on my bladder so Im always "leaking" yikes!

I've been having something similar and have been getting pretty stressed about it.. Was so worried it was fluid. Mentioned it to midwife but she thinks its just pee.. Which I was dubious about as it sometimes happens just after I've been to loo! But I was told if it was amniotic fluid it would be a constant leak rather than just now and again. Anyways I have a scan soon so gonna bring it up then xxx

Hey Char, I hope everything is OK!!!!
I have been leaking (what seems to me like) lots of fluid too For me it's deffo not urine, but last night after my bath it was just dripping all over the place, like tiny little streams. It has been worrying, but I've been feeling peanut move regularly everyday so that puts me at ease. I have a scan tomorrow so I will mention it xoxo

ive had a discharge thats a yellowy colour and i cant quite describe the smell but its not nice, not that any discharge would smell nice lol..
ive been treated twice for water infections with two different lots of antibiotics because of protien in my urine and the discharge, the discharge never went away so im thinking maybe its something ill just have to put up with!
i have also been for swabs though just to be sure, and im waiting for the results..
mine also seems to be a sort of leak after walking round a few minutes after urinating, im constantly wearing liners to be sure now.. very glam this pregnancy business aint it xx

Hope this turns out ok. I was told that the difference between urine and amniotic fluid is that amniotic fluid smells sweet.

Hi ladies, well I haven't had any leaking today which is a first however is it still worth ringing and just checking? The sharp pain I've been getting as stopped. All I got last night was very bad cramping and tightening.

I feel like ill be bothering them if I ring
It's weird because both midwives I've seen said fluid smells like sort bleach kind of smell? Mines in between sweet and bleach ( sorry tmi )

Deffo ring! That's what they are there for. When my waters broke it was clear fluid and to be honest mine didnt smell of anything...when I walked it felt like I was weeing myself xx

Lines were busy when I tried.

Now it's seems its watery white discharge now. Had to change my undies 3 times in an hour

Also after emptying my bladder I noticed yellow water discharge dropping out onto the floor and running down my leg? Then just stops?

I smelt it and it smells like nothing nothing not sure what's going on

It sounds like you deffo need to get checked...how far on are you? Even just for your piece of mind. It could be a water infection or something you just need some antibiotics for.

For me it happened I was 17 weeks and in the airport of all places when I was on the toilet doing a wee, I felt my bladder was empty yet I was still passing water...When I wiped the toilet paper was really wet, so I wiped and wiped again. I thought it was ok then when I pulled my pants up to walk I felt the water leaking out of me again. I phoned maternity assessment and they said it could be pressure on my bladder or watery discharge but it was unlikely to be my waters breaking. So I threw caution to the wind and boarded my flight to spain...about 5 hours later in a spanish clinic I discovered my waters had broke

Im fast approaching the time when my waters broke last time and im terrified. What happened to me is VERY uncommon but if I were you id keep phoning and get checked xx

Oh dear that must have been horrible!!!

I rang and got through she told me to put a pad on and come up in an hour.
What can I expect?

Put the pad on and keep it on as they will need to check it. Im not sure how NHS check but over in spain I got an internal examine and then an ultra sound which showed little/no fluid around my baby.

Im sorry, im not trying to frighten you - I keep saying what happened to me is VERY uncommon! I just think its important you get checked, it could be as simple as a wee urine infection or maybe your baby likes to lie on your bladder! xx
