TMI urine different sign of pregnancy?

Ok se here it goes I feel stupid asking this but maybe someone else had wondered this also. Ok so Im wondering if a change in your urine such as smell and color could be a symptom or sign of being pregnant. Im about 15 days late on my period and ive been having pregnancy symptoms along with my urine it smells extremly weird and is alot darker and cloudier Ive never experienced this before and I know it isnt an infection. Also Ive had all negative tests.

not heard of that before but all women are different i would book in at the doc for a blood test to test from pregnancy as your hormone levels might be too low to show on a home testing kit especially if your urine is changing

sorry it does sound like a bit of an infection to me, i get them ALOT lol i do every now and then get what you describe, i make sure i drink some cranberry juice and lots of water and find the infection doesnt develop

if you are absolutely sure it isnt an infection thats cool but i too have not heard this to be a symptom of pregnancy, increased urination yes but this . . . nope

I definatly have increased urine also and im very well hydrated so its not for that reason either.

hmmm, might just be one of those things, increase in urine is defo a good sign though xkx

During pregnancy, if you aren't taking prenatal vitamins, your urine should be very pale yellow, watered down. If you are taking prenatals, the urine will definitely smell stronger and be a darker yellow or brighter yellow color.

Dark urine is never a good sign of anything. I would go to the doctor to get a UA, kidney and bladder or urinary tract/urethra infections sometimes can sneak by without any physical pain. Darker or cloudy urine are sometimes the only symptoms.

It could also be bacterial vaginosis, and not actually have anything to do with your bladder at all. Again, a reason to visit the doctor for antibiotics.

However, in my own experience, no matter how strange you may think this phenomenon is, don't read this as being that smelly urine comes as part and parcel of being pregnant, because it shouldn't. In fact pregnancy should make little difference to the quality of your "pee" and if you notice that it has a strong smell, looks cloudy or dark, the best thing that you can do is to make a visit to your doctor

The funny part is Ive been taking prenatals for over a year and NEVER had this happen to me and now recently it has started. Im waiting to get into the doctor to make sure it isnt an infection and to ge a blood test done.

Good luck with everything hun, I hope you get some answers soon... They sell over the counter UTI tests at the local drug stores... It may be helpful to buy one and take it to see if you have a UTI or not.....
