TMI** Vomiting blood should I worry

I'm still getting sick at 16 weeks , Which is starting to get me down a little but certainly not worrying.

In the last 3 days when I do throw up there is blood in with it. Half the time I throw up I have no food in my stomach so I’m just heaving over and over and all the is appearing is blood.

Should I be concerned??

It sounds as if you have just burst a little blood vessel in your stomach or throat by constant heaving. I wouldn't worry too much, especially if it's only a small amount and it's only when you are sick. But I am no doctor so would suggest you phone the doctors to get their advice. Hope you feel better x

if its bright red then its fresh blood which normally means from all the heaving youve probably burst a little blood vessel in your throat somewhere.
i had this last time i was pregnant and it scared the crap out of me! xx

That's a load off my mind. Bursting a blood vessel makes perfect sense.

I have an appointment with my MW tomorrow afternoon so I will defiantly mention it.

Hopefully the sickness will subside soon and I can feel this "pregnancy glow" that people keep telling me about

I would ask for some cyclizine meds to take for the worst days....although you should be just about out of the sickness phase. I used to drink a glass of water when I was being sick constantly just so that I would have something to throw up because dry heaving makes me feel awful

Thank you girls, I'm sure mine is not worse than some poor ladies on here. I only really have sickness and migraines, so really I'm just being winey

I try not to moan about being pregnant because I'm actually really happy to be pregnant.......

I'll try the glass of water idea. It so much better than dry heaving. It just feels so violent......

"Vomiting blood" is on the list of reasons to call the MW that she gave me, so I would call.

Sorry you are so sick. I'm nearly 16 weeks and still vomiting almost every day, not fun at all.
