to be or not to be BFP!!!!!!

me and my love have been TTC for a long time now, well it's been that time again for the wicked witch to visit and she's 2 and half weeks late.... I took 2 hpt's so far the first I took about a week ago was blately negative so I waited a week and tested again yesterday morning and got a POSITIVE!! Although the positive is faint it is there and I can hold it 2 feet away from my face and see it....but since it's faint I thought i'd wait again and test on thursday to see if I get a more clear result, however today I noticed some very light discharge brownish pink, I've been checking all day and you can only see it when I wipe (sorry tmi) and infact I just checked again and now there is nothing, are my dreams finally coming true or do I need not to get overly excited about it???? Any similar situations or advice?????

sound like you are pregnant hun!!! congrats! sounds like implantation bleeding. try not to worry to much! congrats!

First - Welcome to BnB! And congrats on your BFP!!!

It's possible that the blood is left over from implantation bleeding. It's also possible that your BFP is real, but AF will still come (chemical pg). I would agree with testing again in a day or too, but you might also benefit from getting a blood test and an early ultrasound to see exactly how far along you are.

Question for you, you said you are 2 and 1/2 weeks late...so when you first tested you were a week and a half late and it was still negative? Just need to clarify, cause I tested yesterday and I was 4 days late...big fat negative but still no AF and symptoms have been different this month from what I've noticed... Just thought I'd do a comparison to see if I'm really out of the game!!!

That is so exciting! I have been wondering about how late you can get a positive HPT. I swere I OV on CD 23 but have been getting neg tests and dont really have any symptoms so I am sure my OV day is wrong. But anyhow congrats and wishing you a

well ladies looks like it's not to be this time, woke up this morning with af at my door, gonna keep an eye on things maybe I still could possibly be preggers but doesn't look good at this point, soo disappointed but not giving up!!!! @ mikoakendra, yes I was a week and half late when I tested the first time give or take and it was a big fat negative, not even a smudge, so I figured I was just late until I tested again with a blue dye hpt and apparently those are bad for giving false hopes, it wasn't a full positive but it wasn't an evap line either there was a color bad, mayb it was indeed positive and am having a chemical pg, no cramping tho, at all, so idk........wont be using a blue dye hpt anymore!!!!!! Grr baby dust to you though keep us posted on your status

definitely retesting tomorrow, what I thought was af stopped this afternoon and wasn't much at all

update.... Took hpt and came back neg, could I still be preggers, I'm soo confused, hadn't had anymore spotting or anything, grr so aggravated!!!!
