I had originally planned to find out sex..adn just keep it between me and oh.

Now im having doubts. Should i find out at all!!! we have our names picked. and i think sometimes it would be nice to have a little surprise :)..

and other times i wana buy pink/blue tops hehe x

I really can't decide either, it's driving me mad.

I don't know what we will end up doing. The only reason I don't want to find out is cause I think the moment will be so special when they say it's a boy/girl at the birth but that's the only reason.

If we found out.

Easier to pick out names
May feel more of a bond with baby before born
Prepare nursery better
Buy nicer clothes

Plus we are having 4 scans 20 wks, 23 wks, 28 wks and 34 wks and it would be so hard not to find out!

i think its nice to have a surprise at the end of all that pushin. i loved the whole suspense of not knowing, and the text to friends and family saying it was a girl was an amazing feeling. DONT FIND OUT :D x

It really is for you and hubby to decide. I personally wanted to find out my husband also, We have had our baby girl's name picked out for over a decade lol! And when the ultrasound lady told us girl my husband said i popped up like a little wiesal in the those games you hit the heads down lol! I was so happy and i buy eveything i need now it is our first and i couldn't wait. My husband told me what i am getting for x-mas he couldn't even hold that surprise in lol and its very very nice! Do what you feel is right :)

We're finding out because i don't like the neutral baby clothes they do for unisex.
I don't mind them, they have some lovely bits. But i don't want to spend all my money out on unisex and spend more money after the baby's born. So that's our reasons for finding out, and plus im really impatient so i don't think i could handle waiting that long :D lol xx

i had this dilemma, and i decided not to, i want to find out at the birth. i don't have any trouble bonding with mym baby and we've decided not to pick out a definate name regardless of whether we found out the sex and i might change my mind when i see my LO.
and as for the clothes, you don't need a lot, buy the basics and buy any gender specific clothes after birth. you have a more accurate idea of sizing, and i've found plently of lovely unisex clothes, you just have to look around more
it is hard not to ask at the scan, and although i'd love to know i want that surprise!!
hehe
