To ladies who have had spotting before

Hi ladies. This is my third pregnancy. I have 2 children and never spotted with either of them. I am 8 wks 5 days and today I went to the bathroom and there was some pink discharge/blood in my underwear and when I wiped.

Has anyone experienced this and gone on to have a successful pregnancy?

I had a lot of heavy spotting when I was pregnant with my daughter. The spotting lasted for a week (in my seventh week) as well in my ninth week for a few days. When I was in my ninth week, the spotting was so heavy I was sure I had lost her, but nope! My cervix was closed and she was snug! She is now a healthy five year old! The doctors never knew why I was spotting, but they said it may have been a cyst that broke... Head over to the doctors and get checked out-fingers crossed everything is okay

Please send an update. This is my first. Currently 5+5 and I have had pink tinted cm when I wiped twice today. It's making me very nervous. No cramping or anything.

I am currently 18 weeks and have been spotting randomly since day 1 of finding out I was preggo, february 23rd!!! Usually once a day after I pee I see a bit on the toilet paper. Had 3 good scans so far. My 20 week scan is in 2 weeks. I get stressed every time I see blood. It happens. My OB said spotting is ok, they worry when it is very heavy. The cervix is sensitive now

Hi there, hopefully this will reasure you a bit... during my first pregnancy i had pink spotting too and now i have a wonderful 14 month old it was a subchorionic bleed which healed. also my best friend had lots of bleeding with her pregnancy, so much that it nearly saturated a pad, and her baby was fine too and is now a healthy toddler. so please try not to stress about it too much. please keep us updated! im wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy!

I had brown spotting for about 3 weeks straight when I was about 5-6 weeks along. So far everything has been well.

With baby #1 I had spotting from about 5 weeks to 8 weeks on and off. I had an early scan and all was fine and now my little boy is running around like a mad thing. However, you should always get it checked out so go and see your dr/midwife x
