I got all the presents out at the weekend and am shocked we have decided to do Xmas day on boxing day aswell so there not just opening presents all day, they have35 presents so far which is just nuts my oldest has a ps3, an electric drumkit and a netbook so trying to work out whether to leave some till there birthdays in July :/

How much does your kids have?
I've always brought alot but even I'm a lil shocked this year

X

we do christmas day at his mums
and boxing day with mine

just because everyone ends up with
LOADS :dohh:

don't wanna overwhelmed the poor child

Lilly has 33 presents, and also a wendyhouse with a couch, kitchen, table and curtains which were counting as one big present lol. I feel quite embarressed when I got it all out that ive let it get so much lol! I write everything down and weve spend £1493 on her this year! that includes her christmas day outfit though. im glad im not the only nutter though LOL x

I am being sensible this year, I am sick and tired of buying toys only to find 2-3 weeks after christmas they are lying in the corner untouched. Dec still has toys in his toy box from last Christmas that he hasnt even played with, plus we are saving for a holiday which I think they will enjoy more than mountains of pressies. :)

I was aiming for 21 gifts each for the two little ones, but struggling. And even then some of those gifts are small things like clothes or chocolates.

I'm thinking I'm being a bit ridiculous aiming for 21 for my younger one though since he'll only be four month old at the time - he has enough toys anyway passed down from his sister, but I just can't help myself!!!

My partner thinks I'm crazy, if he had his way they'd probably have like 5 prezzies each but I'm crazy for christmas!!!! But the prezzies they get aren't mega expensive yet. Robyn has a rocking horse for her most expensive gift, and Elliot has a play mat type thing.

If she got something expensive like a PS3 I probably wouldn't go as crazy with all the other gifts :)

Yep i've gone crazy too - I find the earlier you start shopping the more you seem to buy!

So far I have got Chloe 18 pressies and about 12 for her stocking [BIG stocking lol] but I havn't finished yet, oh goes mad everytime I buy somethnig else but I just ignore him [as always lol]. I have probably spent about £200 max so far but got loads for my money and not sure i'll buy much more as her birthday is in March.

We do Xmas day with my family and then boxing day with oh family and then 27th with my dad and half brothers and sisters, so its a 3 day pressie and eating fest - I LOVE IT!

Lol I feel bad. Chloe and Jaycee only have 4 each from us and then they have loads from the families. I dont think that they need that many presents and I also believe Christmas day is just one day. Boxing day I would only open presents if I was going to see family that I couldnt see on Christmas day.

Ive gone a bit OTT for Kians first christmas, he will only be just over 4 months, and even though i KNOW he wont understand any of it i just want it to be special, i cant help myself and whenever i see something i just end up buying it xx

Thats goodness I am not the only one, I was starting to feel really guilty :nope: I did go a bit crazy last year and when I look at my Christmas photos and then think about the toys in Decs room that hasnt even been touched I feel a little ill, all that money for what

Amelie has loads but as shes a toddler theyre not very expensive. I've spent a good £450-500 though for her xmas and bday :dohh:

I always go a lil nuts but even I was a lil shocked more s with the big pressies glad I'm not the only one who has gone nuts, my daughters main presents are a wii and Sylvanian families house and mansion xx

Lillys main 1s are her wendyhouse, ds & camera. The rest are just toys & arty bits x

I have gone a bit crazy this year but promised myself it would be the last time... after many discussion with oh I think its not because i can that i should. having said that i really cant wait to see their faces and also and more importantly to play with the toys... with them of course.. i bought the doll house for my daughter not me .... promise ....:winkwink:

the older 2 both have over 25 gifts each, blake only has about 12. i usually spend about £200 on each of them.

OH was shocked the 1st year we were together as he had sooo many gifts etc, his family do 1 gift per person at no more than £10! (not that we now have any contact) PLUS he had never had an xmas stokcing even as a kid.
