Ok... ill start again posting here 
If it helps i have had anais' name changed by deed poll as i found out her biological dad didnt have parental responsibility BUT before i did it officially she still had mine and steves name, she had it at the doctors, dentist, school etc.
In fact since getting her deed poll documents ive never even had to show them so i would def just change it all anyway x

Yeah do the known as route. I went by a preferred name from the age of 10 - 16. I went by my preferred name in school, doctors, dentist etc..
