Haha, Joni learnt this one day when she was in bed. I could hear her screaming then babbling for about an hour before she fell asleep. Dread to think what the neighbours thought!

Oh, I remember the day DD learned she could coo. It was the sweetest sound And then she learned how to scream/screech. At the top of her lungs, happy as can be. She went through that stage for about a week. I really, REALLY missed the cooing.

Thankfully she moved on to making new noises that were less ear piercing.
Thank goodness

Just cross your fingers that your LO moves on to the next new sound she can make

Could've written this myself today! Alex has always been a screecher but calmed it down recently but by God he's ramped it up again today. My ears are ringing so you have my sympathy
