Hi everyone
I haven't posted on this board before so a little background. Found out I was pregnant this time last year - naturally with pcos- miscarried my twinnies at about 10 weeks and since then no luck and only 3 afs. Saw specialist last October who ordered all the usual tests - blood tests, scans, semen analysis and hsg. Our follow up appointment is this afternoon and I'm somewhere between excited and terrified! Mostly because I havent lost any weight which they requested... My bmi is only 27.5 so hoping it won't be such a problem. Might be after some advice later on depending on the results! Wish me luck!

Good luck at your appointment! My BMI WAS 27.5 when we started ivf and the consultant said that was perfect as the max is 30.

Hope all goes well :)

Thank you all, it went really well. Everything normal except pcos stopping ovulation. So on provera to kick start my cycle then straight onto 100mg clomid. Excited!

Hi Mrsed,

I didn't get the chance to say good luck but I'm pleased to read all went well today. I have PCOS too and it can be really frustrating but to give you some hope, I had my first transfer today and it was blastocyst.

There are absolutely no guarantees but I feel like there just might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

Wishing you every success.

Glad it went well! Hope provera kicks in fast and you can get started.
