Can I ask a question though, just wondering for my Christening and wedding (if ever)
As a photographer, do you hold right to those pictures? Like can you just display any picture you have taken to anybody, for example on a forum like you have done here.
Or do they sign a form saying you can use the pictures?

I wouldn't want any body seeing mine that I didn't know you see.

And Amy the photographer has the right to use any pictures they want (like for advertising on their own website, for example). I recently photographed a wedding at the venue where we had our wedding reception and there's one of our wedding photos in a book there! x

I think due to data protection they have to ask your permission to use you photo's for advertising/public displays etc. You'd probably be asked to sign a disclaimer to say you gave your permission for your photo's to be used.
