Hi all...so what would you do? My little one is exactly 2years and 6months at Christmas...iv found that all the toys i have taken a real liking to are aimed at 3years+...there is a couple at 2years+ which i have already bought...would you or do you stick to 2years+ toys or venture for the 3 years+?

Sounds silly i guess as the 2year+ toys don't exactly mean they can'y play with them when they turn 3

What do you think? xx

as long as the age 3+ have no "small parts" that can swallowed or pulled off i would go for them. my 14month old is forever playing with his older brothers cars and things.

We're also going for the 3+ years stuff as we were stuck at her birthday so got all the 2+ stuff then!

We've got quite a bit of 3+ things for Hannah. I try not to go so much by the recommended age but whether I think they'll be able to use whatever it is instead

emily's played with 3 + toys since about
a year old ... aslong as they can't harm your
child, go for it :flower:

if it's inbetween i always go up a bit so that the toys get maximum usage!!!

so my son is 18 months but i have bought one that is 2+ and another that is 3+ (but he can use it immediately as it's a toddler drum kit lol)

when he was 6 months last christmas we got stuff that was 12months+ and he was fine playing with them all, as long as they are suitable! and still plays with them now, whereas he may have got bored of 6m+ toys by now!

if that all makes sense!

xxx

Thanks ladies...i think 3+ it is...there is so much more variety! The question now is...what to buy?!...Think it is time for another thread  xx
