Toddler bed canopy

Am trying to decorate LOs new playroom/bedroom. Its quite a big room and it'll be amazing when its finally finished.

The only thing is I worry that it will be too big. He will be going into his toddler bed in that room and I don't want him to be anxious because of this new bigger space. I was looking for a bed canopy/tent on the ikea website but the only one they do matches only one type of ikea bed (grrr). Has anyone seen anything similar?

ive looked all over the internet for u. this is the only one i could find on amazon.com they do ship to uk though. it says new from 56 dollers wich would be anout 36 pound.

Maybe you could make something similar? what about looking in the girls sections for a white one and painting it with fabric paints?

This is the one my son has! He has the bed that goes with it. He went right from a cot to the ikea bed (it's a single). It does look MASSIVE compared to what he had, but I like that he'll be able to stay in it for a long time as it's a single bed and not a toddler size. Also the bed can be flipped from toddler height to a high bed later. So we'll be able to put a toy area or desk under it.

But he absolutely loves loves his bed and has been wanting to go to bed early every day since he moved into it. It's been great, and I love that I can lie down beside him and read stories and cuddle at night

pinktaffy Wow I think my wee man would die if he got that one. He loves cars! I must check out the shipping costs & times as its a possibility. Thank you for looking

Sun I'm so glad bun loves it. I don't understand why it will only fit that one particular bed so am going to pop over to ikea this afternoon to look at it in person. We have a different ikea toddler bed so I would've thought they'd make one canopy to match all the beds! Ah well.. fingers crossed the ikea one might work!

i dont know if youve seen it in ikea but we have a giant leaf hanging over rhys' cot - that would be another idea x

Oh I seen that, but I think its a bit too small. I would maybe need 3 or so to get good coverage.

I'm a numpty. Went to ikea today and now I want the bed that Sun has. Its amazing!!
