Toddler plays up when others around

Does anyone else find their LO plays up more when OH around?

We have lovely days then as soon as we get home or OH comes home, LO plays up crying about everything, wanting him to do certain things, me other things. It is really becoming stressful

I find ds usually behaves better when dh is here.
Is it just a coincidence and it's just the time of day? Hunger and tiredness do terrible things to a toddler.
Could you set aside 45 minutes for your oh to spend with her one on one playing so she feels like she's had his attention.
